About ‘Inward Illuminations’?
I once came across a quote which I paraphrase that “It's not by how long a life was lived, but by how well a life was lived”. However the gap between the former and the latter is hinged on what you know.
We are all products of social construct and primarily, everyone's default wiring is to achieve the former (living long), but those who decide to take a further step succeed in achieving the latter (living well). And that is what I seek to achieve in this life.
Right now, my goal is to get ‘living in my 20s’ right. Maybe if I am able to witness my 30s, the goal will be readjusted.
I have been exposing myself to a lot of information, and while there are lot of information out there, I take introspection and reflection seriously to sieve out what I need, and that which relates to things I am experiencing or that I have experienced before. I have taken writing as my hobby to share what I get from my meditations, which I hope will illuminate your path as well. I think this explains the name behind the substack page.
A Lil disclaimer tho - Ideally, i don’t optimize my blog posts for length even though I am aware of the short attention span people have nowadays which is making us lose out on a lot of essential things, but I write expressively on the subject matter as much as I can while also optimizing for simplicity and avoiding repetition, so that even when you spend a lot of time reading it, it will be worth it.
Much of everything you should know has already been said, but they are not in one place. This I think I help mitigate by consolidating them in Here, and with a touch of relatable experience and my unique writing style, I am sure you would enjoy knowing them.
While the demographics of people I write for are folks in their 20s, everyone no matter the age is welcome to read it.
It is a privilege to have you here, reading my blog posts and even checking this ‘About page’ and by virtue of that, there is a request I would like to ask you - if you read any post that inspired you, do well to engage and share to someone who might need it.
Gracias Mucho.
